The Origin of the Futhark Runestaves

In determining the origin of the Futhark runes and their order it is
important to go to the earliest form of the dialog of Solomon and Saturn
which is in Old Saxon, rather than the later forms in Norse or Anglo Saxon.

The Old Saxon dialog starts with a presentation by a person named Saturn who
represents the old, superceded wisdom.
Saturn presents the Ash Twigged Futhar Ura, which is the Lords Prayer where
the order of the runes are determined by their occurrence in the prayer, as
below.

a[th] gapyhn [th]in rika, a[th] gawyzn [th]in a[th]az, swa in hafniji,
